Staff Numbers and Training

Stable Steps Care Centre has two managers working under the director; a registered manager and a compliance manager. Then we have six registered nurses who work with six CHAPS (six under training) and 4 senior carers (four under training). Besides the above we have ample support staff that includes accounts assistant, two HR assistants, four activity coordinators, three kitchen assistants, three cleaning staff, two laundry staff and two maintenance staff.

Care Home is contracted to in House and online training when requested. Care certificates are completed open to recruitment and all our senior carers have completed or in the process of completing NVQ level 3. NVQs are provided to all staff after their supervision routine thanks to the government funded training. Staff also have access to a range of further developmental courses and all nurses attend updates in their clinical skills and competencies.
