Arrival & Departure
All visitors are asked to sign in on arrival and sign out on departure to comply with Fire Regulations. The client’s family, relatives, and friends are encouraged to visit the resident regularly and maintain contact by letter or telephone when visiting are not possible. In these cases, staff will offer to assist the resident to respond where help may be needed.
- Relatives can contact a client by phone either by arranging for one to be fitted in their own room/personal mobile phone or by contacting the office where the hands-free telephone will be made available. Smartphones are available for relatives and friends to call and contact their loved ones via videocall.
- Two tablets will be also available to clients to use when they like to contact their relatives via videocall.
- An e-mail facility is available. The personal career will provide assistance with a letter or email writing if required.
- All personal mail will be delivered to residents on the day it is received.
